Description
This is an auction of an ORIGINAL JAZZ LP CLASSIC - Eric Dolphy at the Five Spot Vol.2 -PRESTIGE PRLP-7294 ORIGIINAL DG DEEP GROOVE YELLOW BERGENFIELD NJ LABELS. Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder with "VAN GELDER" stamped in the deadwax trailoff of both sides. An incredible ride - a wonderful live performance of Dolphy in his prime with the great Booker Little Mal Waldron Richard davis and Eddie Blackwell. Professionally cleaned twice with VPI system and listened in it's entirety before grading.
Record is visually graded as VG++. It is actually Mint- except for a 1/8" mark at the very end of side 2 - this track has slight crackles and 8 ticks at the very end of the record so it PLAY GRADES MOSTLY MINT- to VG++ (just a few brief light crackles in a few spots), laminated front cover is VG+ with some wear at the upper left corner top edge, very slight wear at the right side corner tips, a price written on back upper right and some light staining on back top and bottom edges.
