The first pressing is about 1/4" taller than the second pressing and features additional information on the back of the LP cover on the bottom. There is the First Generation address and phone number, Gran Ole Opry ticket and tour information, The Gray Line Tour information in Nashville, and the Ernest Tubb Record Shop information.

This is the FIRST PRESSING that was removed from the market because Waylon Jennings was under contract with RCA and didn't have permission to participate in these recordings.

Although I try to grade records and CDs lower than they actually are, please refer to the following.
Grading is similar to the Goldmine standard and is as follows:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - appears to be a perfect record or CD.
“M-” Mint Minus - a near perfect record or CD.
EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play.
EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise, still plays great.
Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records and CDs!
