Description

Ernie Golden and his Orchestra play a great, hot version of "Here Comes Emily Brown" on Champion 16040.  There is are two excellent trombone solos (16 bars and 8 bars) by someone who admires Tommy Dorsey and Jack Teagarden, but isn't either.  Recorded on June 12, 1930.
On the other side, Elmer Grosso and his Orchestra play the pretty "Singing A Song to the Stars."  Both sides have a pleasingly strong rhythmic pulse.
This record is in VV+ condition on the "Brown" side, and V on the "Stars" side.  "Stars" also has a small dig that ticks but passes.
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing.  I know how to pack records.
