Etta James - At Last! ARGO 4003
First Press 1961 blue label in original shrink!
Jacket is EX: In the original plastic shrink that is in tact on the front, but torn on back (highly rare, still looks great, see pictures). Jacket under the shrink is EX! Sharp, legible spine. No splits. No handwriting. Original paper inner sleeve included. If you already have an EX vinyl and need to upgrade a poor jacket, THIS is the one.
Vinyl is G: Cleaned and play tested TWICE on a calibrated/balanced VPI - Hairlines and scratches on both sides that crackle/pop in various places throughout, but NO STICKS and NO SKIPS. Labels have a few small white spots (see pictures).
This is from my personal collection of more than 10 years and I am offering it to a new home, as I recently splurged for an upgraded NM copy. Please ask for clarifications or additional pictures, as refunds are not accepted. If you don't want a G record, do not bid on this. But, if you want an EX jacket in the original shrink that is outrageously rare, this is the one.
This will be double packaged and reinforced for added protection for shipping.
This will not be relisted if not sold; it will become part of my gift collection for friends who collect rare, classic records.
