Year: 1962
Album cover condition: VG+, clean and bright, very light edge wear, no ring wear, back has browning around edges and scattered light browning
Vinyl visible condition: VG+, light hairlines visible only in bright light, hardly any spindle wear,
Vinyl playability: VG, light crackle and very listenable, but does have one loud pop near start of second track on side 1 (note: I rated it "VG+" when first listed, but, on second thought, downgraded it due to that pop)
Inner sleeve: It may not be the original, so let me know if that is important to you.
Condition rating
I started buying and listening to records in the 1950’s, and am now offering some more from my collection. Those who have purchased records from me on eBay in the past have been satisfied buyers (and please note my overall positive feedback).
Every record listed has been played through unless noted otherwise. I make notes on playability for each record and include these observations in addition to just a grade in many cases. I am currently running a Dual 1219 TT with Shure M97xE cart and a Denon turntable with Ortofon cart. I also examine the record under strong light so as to note any visible marks.
I use the Goldmine grading system: NM (near mint), VG+ (very good plus, or VG+++ if approaching NM), VG (very good), and VG- (very good minus), etc., and grade the album cover and record separately. I don’t have any specialized cleaning equipment for records, but will wipe them with a soft, damp cotton terry cloth.
Payment
Payment is due within 3 days of auction end. You will receive an eBay email advising of the total due and check-out procedure. Please wait for an invoice for combined payment and shipping of two or more items, as applicable. Payment shall be made via PayPal. I take pride in good communications and timely turn-around for buyers.
Shipping, handling, and insurance
Records will be packed in new boxes, padded, and labeled “do not bend.” A poly sleeve is provided for each record album. Shipping options are available when you go to pay. Media mail is cheap, slow, and I have not had a problem with it to date (while some have). Priority mail is available at the cost noted. Items will be shipped within two days of receipt of payment (unless there are circumstances beyond our control, then it shall be ASAP). Insurance and/or delivery confirmation is included at my option and expense.
Returns
Items are sold as-is, as-described, so please ask questions first. That said, I will accept a return if there was a significant error in the listing, and will credit your PayPal account upon satisfactory receipt of the returned item. I will not accept returns for a change of heart. Note that I have a technique to identify a record as the one I shipped
