This is an original US vinyl pressing on Flying Dutchman/Amsterdam 12005 from 1970. This is great hard rock/psych issued by a Jazz label !!. The band is Gary Leavitt, Maris, Ralph Mazzota, and Jay Leavitt. It was produced by Charlie Dreyer & Bobby Herne. This is very hard to find and is not even listed in the Goldmine price guide.
The songs are : Shadows Of Life, On The Way, Bye Bye Baby, Gimme Some Lovin', First Time Last Time, Lazy Livin', 97 Dayas, She's Gone, and It's All Over Now.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG / Record is M-
The gatefold cover is VG. There is ring wear and a small name written on the front. The gatefold cover was folded wrong at the factory and the right side is 1/4 inch longer the rest of the cover. This right edge has bends, wear and is a little tattered at the bottom right. There is a name sticker on the inside gatefold and on the B-side label. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint. The labels have no spindle marks. The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.
About Me :
I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
