Christa Williams – “Irgendwoher”/ “Mona, Mona...” (Decca, 45-F 18949). Rare Danish-pressed 45 of the 1959 Eurovision entry from Switzerland. Sleeve has the occasional small rip, a bit of edge splitting and a piece of tape repair. Having said that, it doesn’t look too bad. Sadly, the disc has a lot of grazing and scratches. The disc is still playable and there are no “skips”, but there is a lot of surface noise when played, although this tends to reduce after the first minute or so. If you want a copy that you wish to play a lot, I would advise you not to bid on this one. However, if you merely want the record as a playable collection filler (and it is a very rare item), this one might suit you.
