Description

This is the exceptionally rare box of Evan Parker solos. Produced in a limited individually numbered edition of 200, this one for sale is a low number - far below 100. Signed by Evan Parker on the inside of the box and on an enclosed document. The set is complete as follows:

1 LP - Saxophone Solos
1 LP - Monoceros
1 LP - Six of One
1 LP - The Snake Decides
1 Cassette containing an additional 10 tracks of Aerobatics (extending from the first LP)
1 Booklet, Fear of Metal Sheds by Paul Haines
1 document listing all tracks on all media, signed by Evan Parker
1 outer box, signed by Evan Parker and hand numbered xx/200

The LPs were originally released individually on Incus. The box set contains the Incus disks and was distributed by Cadillac Distribution. The 200 sets sold out quickly. I have never seen one come up for auction on eBay and the set is extremely hard to find in rare record shops.

The LPs and cassette are unplayed and mint. The booklet and document are mint. The outer box is near mint. (The label on the spine is loose and was reattached with cellotape long ago. There are some small faded marks on the box from the original sealing tape and a tiny scuff mark on the upper right corner. A very presentable box however - I'm just being a stickler.)

This is a rare opportunity, unlikely to present itself again. I can find no record of this set appearing on eBay in the past. You certainly have the right to bid any way you like, I just caution those who wait to bid in the last few seconds that they are likely to be disappointed. So often when selling rare items I get emails after the close from disappointed bidders who were a few seconds late. The price paid for being too clever?

All sales are final. Please use the shipping calculator link eBay is so nice to provide on this page. I will not answer emails requesting shipping costs.
