Description

Sadly no longer with us, The Everly’s are legendary with many great records. Artists like The Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel were influenced by their music.
 Cathy’s Clown was a No 1 hit in 1960 and one of the final releases on 78rpm in U.K. Very few copies of this record on this format survive and are hard to come by.
A side is “Cathy’s Clown”. Surface is excellent with a few scuff marks and the odd light hairline scratch which do not affect play. Some spindle wear and a minuscule chip on outer rim( see photo)On this side only which is hardly noticeable and again no affect of play or running in grooves. The record plays brilliantly with no clicks, jumps or interference. Labels are in VG condition. Warner brothers No 1.
B side “Always it’s you”. Excellent surface with no chips and lovely sound.
This is a U.K. release and should be a great investment for any record collector. It will a long time before another one comes up especially in this condition. Low starting bid so maybe grab a bargain! I am familiar with posting 78 rpm and will arrive safely.
