Description
For sale is one copy of Everybody Digs Bill Evans by the Bill Evans Trio. This is an excellent copy of a relatively rare record.
The matrix details are RLP-12-291-A and RLP-12-291-A. The matrix details, deep groove pressing, and disc labels would indicate that this is the 1960 US Mono reissue.
The vinyl looks like VG to the eye but plays more like VG+. The disc has some smudging and scuffing on both sides but has been play-tested and this album plays strong for sure. Although there is some light noise you can, for instance, still hear the amazingly light brush drum work on Young and Foolish.
This album was kept in a plastic sleeve on its shelf so the cover has stayed remarkably preserved. I have included photos of the very few imperfections which are a bit of flaking in the center, a blunted lower-right corner, and a bit of smudging on the rear.
