Description
John Hotchkis, National Theatre Of The Air, c.1960's?
This I think is a transcription disc for a B.B.C. radio broadcast, or a direct recording from the original (note PYE white label). The record is an acetate, it is L.P. sized and plays at 16 2/3 R.P.M. The sound quality is very good. Runs for 58 minutes, single sided. From listening to the start I've gleaned the following information about the production. Please excuse any spelling mistakes or inaccuracies.
National Theatre of the Air (I've seen reference to them from the early 1960's). B.B.C. Repertory Company. cast members include David Bird, John Pullen, Julian Summers, Michael Turner, June Tobin, Tom Watson, Philip Lever, Diana Olsen, Penelope Lee, Haydn Jones.
