Description
This is part of a "Leftovers" auction I'm doing. I just didn't have time to list these when I did their label-specific auction. There are 10-20 records each from Atlantic, Excello, Checker and Chess. Some absolutely killer stuff there that I can't believe I didn't get to the first time around.

Release: Slim Harpo - I'm A King Bee / I Got Love If You Want It
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1957
Notes: Original promo release with the white and blue labels. This is the first release by Harpo, who released several records on Excello well in to the 60's. Two very interesting blues tracks here. More "haunting" than the Chicago stuff and Harpo's unusual vocal really makes them an interesting listen, some of his later stuff went more into R&B, but this is straight blues. Hard to find record.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape, very clean with almost no wear at all - maybe a couple of the tiniest marks upon close examination. Both sides play very well with no noticeable background noise - great sound. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are really clean as well, just a bit of light scuffing. This is a very nice copy overall.
Look for awesome Gospel auction coming in Mid-November then I'm off for the rest of the year. Still have some great stuff to sell and will be back at it in January.
