Description

Exmortus' The Sound of Steel (2018) is generally well-received as a strong, fast-paced album blending technical thrash with neo-classical shredding, praised for its impressive guitar solos, melodic depth, and tight musicianship, though some felt it didn't innovate as much as earlier works, offering a solid, enjoyable experience for fans of the genre with highlights like "Feast of Flesh" and "Strength and Honor". Reviewers noted its blend of fast tempos, intricate guitar harmonies (recalling Yngwie Malmsteen), powerful drumming, and mature vocals, making it a good entry point or solid addition for thrash and guitar enthusiasts.
