Description

Hard-to-find full-length compilation LP titled "Iowa Ear Music" released by Cornpride Records in 1976. Original private first pressing of this sought after album featuring 21 tracks of contemporary experimental music, free jazz improvisations and electronic avant-garde. The recordings were made between 1969 to 1976 from the fertile Iowa City music scene cultured by the local university. The tracks run seamlessly one after another to create a cohesive listening experience despite the diversity of styles and spread of time. Fantastic album...ESSENTIAL!!
