Description
Extremely rare 1966 Motown US promo disc pressed on dark red vinyl. Disc is "Seasons Greetings from Motown" and contains short spoken Christmas greeting tracks from all the main artists on the Motown roster, including, - Martha & vandellas, Temptations, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Shorty Long, the Velvelettes, The Motown Spinners, Four Tops, The Elgins and (last but not least) Diana Ross & Supremes. Code number is 2482/3 with matrices GCMN-2482/3-NNDD.
I suspect that this record was sent to DJ's for sound spots on shows around the Christmas period in 1966 or fan club members. Either way this is very rare and almost impossible to get hold of in any condition.
Sadly label on A side is lightly discoloured/stained. B side is quite badly stained but still reads ok. Disc has lots of light scuffs and some slight scratches but plays well with light surface noise. Overall VG.
Offered at a very attractive start price to take account of condition and rarity. Bid now as it won't be around long!
