Description
Eydie Gorme vinyl EP record and cardboard picture sleeve titled "Blame it on the Bossa Nova" Columbia CS 8812, 1963, factory sealed in plastic, never opened. I am not certain, but I think this is a 33 1/3, not a 45, It was intended for jukebox customers and comes with the jukebox strips shown in the photograph plus two miniature LP paper photos (mixed with the tabs). The photos show the cover and back (blank) side. Other tracks on this EP are Desafinado; The Coffee Song; One Note Samba; The Sweetest Sounds; and Melodie D A'mour. I believe this was one of the Stereo Seven records that Columbia put out from its "360 Sound" era. It is in great shape, still sealed, with some normal age-related wear.

This item belonged to a former employee of the Columbia Records pressing plant in Terre Haute, IN. From 1962-1972, she horded thousands of 45s (and hundreds of sleeves) from the plant directly into the basement of her home. Most of them were never played,
If I do not list the visual grade for a record, this means the record's visual grade does not differ significantly from the play grade. Play grade definitions: NM (near mint) -- little or no surface noise; VG+ (very good plus) -- surface noise, but does not interfere with the enjoyment of the track; VG (very good) -- surface noise noticeable and whether or not it interferes with the enjoyment of the track depends on your level of tolerance. G (good) -- noticeable surface noise, at least some of which interferes with the enjoyment of the song.
