" Eyes " TAQN b/w Topological Lies
original pressing of Eyes "TAQN" (take a quaalude now) B/W "Topological Lies"
Dangerhouse Records No. IZE-45, L.A., 1978. Black vinyl, with large center hole “half-back sleeve”.
"T.A.Q.N." was Eyes´ only vinyl output besides some sampler appearances. It featured the 4-member lineup of the band, with Jimmy Leach on Bass and Backing Vocals, Joe Nanini on drums, David Brown on organ and Joe Ramirez on Vocals, all well known folks from the Dangerhouse circle. They played a sound similar to The Dickies, but The Eyes proceeded them.
the record was stored in a plastic outer sleeve, and in "near mint" condition....with very slight bending on bottom right of sleeve, and slight signs of age. the vinyl is "near mint +" (great condition, considering the age)

for many years, i worked within some capacity of the recording industry…. promotions, retail, reviews, and radio.
all the records/cd's that i am selling, are from my private collection. all have been stored in plastic protective sleeves, and stored vertical, on edge, in proper record boxes (25 or 50 LP boxes, etc).
when there is obvious/known blemishes, they will be listed……along with this basic grading system:
Still Sealed (SS) = a new record, sealed in its original shrinkwrap.
Near Mint (NM) Vinyl is near perfect. Very likely unplanned, or played for review, or to put on tape for radio play. At most, a light scuff appears on the record, but it should play without any noise or skips. The record sleeve should also be near perfect with only minor signs of wear. There should be no "ring wear" on the cover. (Ring wear is when the outline of the record inside shows through the sleeve.) ** NOTE :: I have yet to grade any cover NM, I grade covers either SEALED or EX. **
Excellent (EX) Vinyl should still play with no skips of any kind. There can be some very minor surface scuffs, but they should not affect the sound quality. The record sleeve can have some minor ring wear but it should be mostly in good shape. Also, there can be some minor creases in the corners but no splits in the seams.
Very Good+ (VG+) This is the grading category where the quality of the sound is affected -- there will be some surface noise -- and the vinyl will show wear, including surface scuffs and some light scratches. However, the record is still very listenable as there are no deep scratches that cause skips. On the cover, the corners may be slightly bent, but not broken. There may be wear to the seams but not tears or holes.
