I love this project .This combo has been created to make popular music for workers and immigrant workers during social meeting during the late 70°s, the combo first think that they have to make as the " black " americans jazzmen revendicative music ( free jazz ) , but finally realize that free jazz was not really what the labor class / workers from france were listening ( the workers class of the 70°s were mostly compoesed by country people and immigrant from africa and middle east (who were listening traditionnal and popular music ) ...So the combo innovate a new kind of avant gard jazz mostly based on african / latin traditionnal music but also french folklore and more easy to listen music than pure free music ...it give a superb fusion bnetween AFRO / LATIN and AVANT GARD JAZZ ...even avant blues ...with JO MAKA / FRANCOIS TUSQUES and many more ...BIG RECOMMEND...
