TITLE/INFO: OK, I'll be listing more old and rare 45's these next few weeks, as well as more early '50's-'60's EP's and LP's, so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. This rare and highly collectible four (4) song EP by Fabian is entitled "The Fabulous Fabian" Volume 3, from 1959 (I've also listed Volume 1 in today's auction - I don't have Vol.2) - FYI, all four song titles are clearly visible in the pictures above. In my opinion, this rare and highly collectible EP is in good to excellent condition, but please read on and check out all the pictures above.  LABEL INFO: This original, Chancellor label (A-5005) is very good with no flaws at all. I don't even see that any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had light play, if any at all. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice, and again, I see nothing seriously flawed with it, although there are some super light (and I do mean super light) paper/surface lines on either side. Otherwise though, it looks very clean and nice and these light lines have no effect on the EP's play. PICTURE SLEEVE/JACKET:  Finally, although the jacket is okay on the key front and back sides, there are  a couple of issues in need of mentioning here. There are some early signs of light "aging" in a couple places, some small scuff marks in all four corner areas, and a 2" seam split in the very bottom seam near the open edge. Otherwise though, it quite nice and just fine. But, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything - or write me if you need more info! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this rare and hard to find Fabian EP is in pretty nice overall shape - especially the vinyl - and, as always, I have begun the auction at a very low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces.
