GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : "Theme from Sanguelia" è un brano strumentale dall'atmosfera tenebrosa sottolineata da percussioni e dalle tastiere con una ossessiva ripetizione di poche note interrotte da alcuni suoni cupi e poderosi provenienti dall'organo o strumento similare. "Partenza all'Inferno" è una sorta di calypso elettronico con vene anche di cha cha cha, condotto da tastiere, batteria e percussioni. Sebbene non accreditati troviamo il Goblin Maurizio Guarini alle tastiere e Adriano Giordanella alle percussioni.

Notes : "Theme from Sanguelia" is an instrumental tune from the gloomy atmosphere underlined by percussion and keyboards with an obsessive repetition of a few notes interrupted by some dark and powerful sonority from the organ or similar instrument. "Partenza all'Inferno" is a kind of electronic calypso also with a hint of cha cha cha, led by keyboards, drums and percussion. Although uncredited there are the Goblin Maurizio Guarini on keyboards and the percussionist Adriano Giordanella.
