Description
This is a very rare Factory records 12" EP, released in 2002. Produced in a very limited quantity for the cast and crew of the film '24 Hour Party People', these only rarely turn up - you won't easily find another one!
It has the same Factory catalogue number as the film itself (FAC 401), and includes 4 classics by Factory artists (as used in the film):
Joy Division - 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'
Happy Mondays - '24 Hour Party People'
Happy Mondays - 'Hallelujah (Oakenfold Mix)'
New Order - 'Blue Monday'
The vinyl itself is Ex (probably closer to NM), as there is no sign of it ever having been played - I should know as it was given to me by someone who worked on the film and who didn't have a record player, and I've never played it myself! The sleeve is VG+ due to some ring-wear on the reverse of the sleeve and some rubbing on the spine and on the edges, plus a couple of small creases (one near the top of the spine and the other near the opening). The printed inner sleeve is a strong VG+ or better.
