Description

  • "A Nod Is As Good As A Wink... To A Blind Horse" is the third album by Faces (formerly Small Faces) and showcases the increasing influence of lead singer Rod Stewart and the guitar work of Ron Wood. It was their most successful album and included the hit single "Stay With Me."

  • This copy (BS 2574) is from the first pressing in 1971 and includes a pristine copy of the very rare 32" x 43" poster that was only included in the first few copies released. The poster consists of candid polaroid photos from their tour with lots of sex, drugs and rock and roll that Warner Bros. deemed to racy and quickly withdrew. Please see the pictures. The cover does have some ring and edge wear but is otherwise intact and I rate it VG+. The disc plays cleanly and I rate it VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 49 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
