Original 1973 1st press UK issue LP. Novelty design picture sleeve. Cat no Warner brothers K56011
PLAY GRADES in EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT condition.
Sleeve detail and description :
- The top loading novelty picture sleeve is fully functioning, the tabs are not worn (just a crease on the right hand one) and when inserted and pressure is applied to the top of the sleeve, the eyes move and the mouth shows ("To move face, squeeze top of album down" is printed in very small black writing on the top of the sleeve)
- The sleeve has been stored with the tabs out of their slots, and the age related browning shows this (compare pic 2 with the tabs out as stored, and pic 3 with the tabs inserted into the slots)
- Pictures 3, 4, 5 and 6 show the sleeve in various unfolded postions (again the age related browning is clearly visible on the white sections which have been left exposed.
- Picture 7 shows the rear of the sleeve.
- Light creasing on the edges, but overall this sleeve is in amazing condition. I would imagine so many of these were played with and worn/creased/torn in the process. This one has been spared that experience!
Spine is unflattened and fully legible.
The labels are clean.
Plain poly-lined inner sleeve, no splits or tears.
Comes complete with the original large lyric printed poster (approx. 50cmx75cm / 20"x30"), which is unused with light creasing and the original folds from storage (see pictures)
