I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING FACTORY RECORDS VINYL FOR MANY YEARS, AND OVER THAT TIME I HAVE ACCUMULATED A LOT OF DUPLICATES. NOW IT'S TIME TO SELL THEM!

This is a very scarce first pressing of Joy Division's classic single Love Will Tear Us Apart. When you hold the vinyl up to a bright light it shines translucent red. There aren't many of these! Apologies for the poor quality photo of the vinyl under a light - it's not easy to get a picture of this without getting loads of reflections on the disc.
Comes with the thick matt cardboard sleeve - later ones were in a thinner glossy sleeve. This one has the rear cut-out in straight lines rather than an oval cut - see pic of rear sleeve.
Matrix numbers are FAC 23 A1 and B1. A side has 'Don't Disillusion Me' scratched into the runout groove and the B side has 'I've only got record shops left'

Condition:
Record - VG (some light markings on B side)
Cover - G/VG (I would rate this as VG+ apart from the fact that there are 2 very light stains in the bottom corner of the front cover, probably caused by leaving a wine glass on it - see pic)
Record Grading System:
MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised, as Sealed or Unplayed will be mint.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, possibly with light surface marks but there will be very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
