I have two Bowie Factory Samples up for auction this week. Both starting at 0.99p and with no reserve.

FACTORY SAMPLE - NOT FOR SALE

ONE OF THE FIRST TO EVER ROLL OUT OF THE FACTORY AND INCREDIBLY RARE! 

This is an ORIGINAL 1977 UK 1st PRESSING of David Bowie`s Electronic MASTERPIECE - LOW on RCA Records. 

It's also an incredibly rare and almost Impossible to find,

 "FACTORY SAMPLE - NOT FOR SALE" 

so, GUARANTEED TO BE ONE OF THE FIRST THEY EVER PRESSED.

Usually pressed for quality control and to send out to Journalists and DJs who the record companies deemed suitable to promote the record. There are many collectors who will say "oh yeah, its just a sticker" The fact is that it's not. THIS STICKER REPRESENTS THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE RUNS BEFORE THE STOCK COPIES HAVE BEEN PRESSED TO SELL IN THE SHOPS. And if your looking for some authentication then check the sales history of this "factory sample". I can only find one other copy which sold in the last few weeks for quite a considerable amount, in VG/EX condition, this one is NM!

In all my life and years of collecting I have never seen another "Factory Sample" other than the one sold a few weeks back and that one was VG+, this one is NM.

The Original stickered sleeve is in EX-NM condition. 

The record is in a stunning NM condition. A beautifully pristine looking and sounding vinyl still in it's original RCA company inner flip back sleeve. Has a mirror like reflection both sides providing near perfect play-back. Absolutely no issue with audio. Even between tracks it's near silent. A true stunner. 

AFTER ITS RELEASE IN 1977 THIS GROUND BREAKING LP SPEARHEADED THE DIRECTION OF MUSIC IN

ENGLAND. AND THE RIPPLES WENT GLOBAL.

Paul McCartney was famously quoted "yeah the Beatles are byfar the biggest group ever, but if you're talking influential its Roxy Music and Bowie. And it's Bowie's Low LP. It dosen`t pander to the listener it challenges the listener and that, is very clever".

David himself said "Low is my DNA . Cut me, and I bleed Low. 

An interviewer asked Bowie "why did you not put words to the Instrumentals on Low ?".

Bowie`s answer .......

"No language exists that could describe how I was feeling when I recorded LOW"

I thinks that's incredibly brave for an artist to both do and admit but that's Bowie's appeal, he was always just so "real" with everything he did, it all came from the heart.
