Description
Being offered is the Fad Gadget's 1980 album "Fireside Favourites" released on Mute cat no STUMM 3, the matrix run out etchings show that this is teh first pressing. Also being offered with it is the first pressing of the 12" version of the single " For Whom the Bell toll" released on Mute in 1982 cat no Mute 026. I have listened to them both and there are no jumps, clicks , skips etc. They appear to have been hardly played as you can see from the close ups which show very little spindle wear.
Very little wear to the sleeve of For whom the bells toll. The record does not have an inner liner bag, I am assuming it was never issued with one.
The cover of Fireside Favourites has very little wear as you can see from photo 3 even the spine shows no sign of wear however in the first photo you will see above Frank Tovey's head ( on the Fireside Favourite's cover) a greyish area, this is in fact meant to be there and is in the original photo but if you look higher up to the right there is a greenish arc which is were the disc edge beneath has applied pressure to the cover when it was stored and caused the black cover to slightly discolour there. Photo 4 shows the bottom edge of the cover, this is a surface split to the paper covering of the card cover it does not split the case and is only in the very top layers of the cover that it affects.
Please note that the free postage is for the UK only.
