Year of Release - UK 1968
Sleeve Design - Laminated front and rear cover, both front and rear is predominantly black in colour. Front cover is fully laminated with full colour picture of band. Polydor logo in bottom right corner with band and title lettering in orange and yellow. Rear of sleeve is laminated with further picture of band and all lettering in various colours.
Record Details - The sleeve is in overall very good condition as shown in the pictures provided, it is graded at VG/EX. The front of sleeve is bright and clear with no worrying concerns and has a high gloss sheen. It has some small creasing in the lamination. All four corners on front of sleeve are in tact with some slight wearing. The spine of the sleeve has minimal creasing and all lettering is bright and clear. The rear of the sleeve has some slight creasing in the lamination.
The record itself plays through with no issues or concerns and is graded at VG/EX, it has a clear sound throughout. Side 1 has surface marks that in no way affect playing or sound. Label on Side 1 has minimal spindle marks as shown on picture. Side 2 has surface marks that in no way affect playing or sound. Label on Side 2 has spindle marks (less than side 1) as shown on picture.
I have used the Rare Record Guide grading system to grade the overall condition of both the sleeve and the record itself.
Record Collector Magazine Grading System:
MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be Mint.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding.
The record will be packaged carefully using top quality record mailers and stiffeners.
