Description

Up for auction is a nice, original copy of the Fairport Convention album "Liege & Lief" originally released in the U.K. on Island Records (ILPS 9115) in 1969.

-Guaranteed original U.K. pressing
-Rare original pink "white I" labels
-A1/B1 1st pressing stampers in run-out
-Original gatefold E.J. Day Group cover
-No UPC/bar code on cover
-Has plain paper inner sleeve
-Ultra rare first pressing

Condition:
Cover is very nice, with only light signs of wear.  No ring wear on front or back.  Upper right corner has a small white spot caused by a former sticker.  Seams are nice, no splits, just some light rub here and there, and a light bump top middle.  Corners are nice, light rub.  Interior is clean.  A very well preserved original.  Grade: Very Good Plus Plus (VG++).

Vinyl looks beautiful, still has its original glossy shine.  No apparently scratches or scuffs, just some light, superficial signs of having been taken out of inner sleeve a couple times.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play.  Very clean and shiny, nice.  Grade: Near Mint (NM).
