Original UK stereo gatefold LP, release date 1969 on the pink ‘i’ Island label, catalogue number: ILPS9115*A//1193 Matrix nos: side1) ILPS9115*B//1114 side 2) Condition of cover/record: NEAR MINT / EX (Grading as used by Record Collector) The cover is a gatefold, printed and made by E J Day, London & Bedford. Top and bottom edges have very little wear, just dots and dashes over approx ¼ of the total top and bottom edges. Apart from that the cover is in MINT condition – no creases, tears, rings, no splaying of the open edge, no writing or stickers. The inner gatefold surfaces are perfect. THE COVER DESERVES ITS MINT RATING – IT LOOKS LIKE NEW. The spine is in perfect condition as is the print on it. The inner sleeve is white polythene-lined. Only side one had some light spindle marks (approx 5 or 6) and none on side two – there is no writing on either label. The record plays EXCELLENTLY – about half the tracks play with virtually no imperfections in sound quality, just one or two crackles, and the others have just one or two clicks or a few crackles, but overall an EX rating is fully justified. This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it, & is from my personal collection.
