On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Fairport Convention called "Unhalfbricking" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1969 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Island label (This is the earliest 1st Press label - there were none pressed on earlier labels)!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AS A 1ST PRESSING!!!! THIS LP IS ALSO IN BRILLIANT CONDITION WITH A STUNNING COVER AND A BRILLIANT RECORD!!!! THIS IS THE 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING WITH A//1 B//1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS ISLAND LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS E.J.DAY COVER!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY RARE AS A 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is ILPS 9102 on the ORIGINAL 1969 1st Press Island Label (see picture) and is an ORIGINAL 1969 Stereo 1st Pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Fairport Convention at their best!!!! Any fan of Fairport Convention, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!
The 1st Press record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! THIS RECORD HAS CLEARLY NOT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 small hairlines on one side, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops, only a few light clicks/pops which dont last long on the track 'Sailors Life' (from the 3 or 4 small hairlines), NO jumps, NO sticks, and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion!!!! The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in STUNNING condition!!!! The 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Cover is in STUNNING condition and SO RARE like this!!!! The cover is AMAZINGLY flat looking and looks SUPERB!!!! There is NO sticker tears, NO ringwear, ZERO rubbing on the front, and barely ANY (virtually ZERO) rubbing on the cover back!!!! The cover has NO edge wear, only the very VERY slightest spinal wear (only to the VERY point of the spine ONLY, 99% of the side words are all perfectly readbable), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour, STUNNING shape), barely ANY creases AT ALL (Cover is AMAZINGLY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO yellowing, NO writing, and NO grubbyness!!!! This really is a SUPERB cover and SO HARD to find like this!!!! The cover must grade Excellent (Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!! IT IS SO TOUGH TO FIND THIS 1ST PRESS COVER IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS LP IS SO RARE AS A 1ST PRESSING - AND RARER STILL IN THIS BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLY RARE LP!!!!
