Description
FAIRPORT CONVENTION - Unhalfbricking
(UK Original Press on ISLAND Records, # ILPS 9102. from 1969)
Label/Sleeve -> Rare PINK Label with White ‘I’ Logo. Non Gatefold Sleeve printed at Ernest J Day & Co Ltd. and is the first press Cover.
Matrix # -> ILPS 9102 A//1 and ILPS 9102 B//1 ( //1 are considered earliest or first pressing stamp-ers but this definitely is 2nd label design and would be from the same year)
Grade (Cover/Vinyl) -> VG+ / EX
Description -> Vinyl is in nice condition and plays great with superb fidelity. Many fine hairlines are visible on the surface when viewed under strong light and plays nicely with occasional light background sound and some light ticks at one place. Overall a very nice copy and very difficult to locate decent copies of this on Pink Island.
Very thin cover as it came in is in decent shape and has lots of rub wear and some light creases. Has a name written on the back cover in blue ink, and also says Love from Russ. (See Picture)
