Here's one of my favorite jazz funk records from the West Indies. This 3rd album by Fal Frett, lead by the Bernard Brothers who played on most of the Marius Cultier's records, is just a beautiful melting between spiritual jazz, soul & caribbean funk. Don't miss out the blowing "Ziriguidum" a powerful modern soul/jazz funk cut with splendid vibes solo à la Roy Ayers. "Zoubi" & "Véronique" are deep spacy jazz between latin & modal with subtle Fender solo, "Chal' Babi" sounds like a Roland Brival track. And the last cut of Lp "Marius" is just a beautiful groovy modal jazz in the memory of Marius Cultier. Totally under the radar by jazz fusion collectors ! Essential.

SS = Still Sealed (in perfect condition, no wear )
M = Mint (still in new condition, no imperfections, a Perfect Copy !)
M- = Near mint (imperceptible wear, full vinyl gloss)
EX = Excellent (only very slight wear and paper scuffs, vinyl still glossy with very rare noise)
VG++ = Near Excellent (light surface noise and wear but fairly minor, vinyl still plays nicely)
VG+ = Very Very Good (Evident groove wear or minor scuff marks, surface noise noticeable but does not really affect the playing)
VG = Very Good (Wear and scuffs are more evident and many surface noises are noticeable)
VG- = Good to Very Good (heavy groove wear or scuffing, plays noisily)
