I am not a greedy man but neither am I a charitable institution. This is a highly collectable album and I have worked hard to find it. In exchange, I expect a fair price in an openly competitive auction. If the album has not induced enough interest in the way of bids with 12 hours to go,I am taking it down. Increasingly, in the last few months, auctions for my better quality records have ended up as a last five seconds free for all, when all the watchers make their bids and try to get a "steal" for £4.99. The previous six days,23 hours,59 minutes and 55 seconds seem to count for nothing. In such a scramble, there is only one winner and that is the person with the most up to date super duper technology which allows him to set an automatic robot to bid in the last second.Nobody else gets near it and lots of people are disappointed having faithfully "watched" all week. What I am suggesting now, is that if you are going to bid, do so early, at least , in that way,you are in the ball game. You still may not win, but your heart will rejoice in knowing that you are giving yourself a fighting chance! Please remember, you are not the only watcher! Whatever you decide to do,best of luck.
Sadly, it is with regret that I need to advise that because of a number of recent disasters, which have cost me a lot of wasted time and caused me great anguish,I am no longer able to accept bids from anyone with a feedback of less than five, unless the person wishing to make the bid contacts me first for my approval. If my approval has not been granted,I will remove the bid and block any further bidding attempts.I am most unhappy at having to resort to these measures but feel that I am no longer left with any alternative. Some people treat ebay as a joke and have no respect for it or its principles.
