Description
FANNY ADAMS – FANNY ADAMS – MCA MAP/S 4069.
An original Australian pressing of this 1971 LP (recorded 1970) by the Australian band put together in London by guitarist VINCE MALOUNEY after he left the Bee Gees. Vocalist DOUG PARKINSON (ex Questions/In Focus), drummer, JOHNNY DICK (ex Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs/Max Merritt & The Meteors/In Focus) and bass player TEDDY TOI (ex Max Merrit/Aztecs) completed the line-up.
The album is a mix of heavy prog and blues based rock. It has become a much desired album by collectors.
All the tracks were composed by the band.

The record is in VG Minus condition. There are some marks and some scratches (not heavy) that don’t affect playing or listening enjoyment. There are a couple of small spots with light surface noise but other than that the record plays a strong VG+. A pretty nice play. I’ve heard records with a far better visual grading play worse. There is a small blister (a manufacturing fault) on the outer edge of side one but it doesn’t affect playing the LP. There is also a spot in the run out groove on side one where it gets stuck. This is after the music has finished playing. The labels are clean. One has a couple of small, light age spots.
The cover is VG(+). There is some storage wear and some creasing in the corners. There are a couple of small pin holes in the top/middle and a small surface tear on the back.
Not pristine but a very sound copy.
