ONE OF the first, if not the first, all female hard rock bands to score a record deal and release albums. Led by two sisters, that's bassist June Millington and guitarist Jean Millington with Nickey Barclay on keyboards and vocals. Good solid hard rock with a soulful and groove soaked foundation allowing the band to dig down hard.
Produced by Richard Perry. Tough to find.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
Pressing: Reprise, UK, 1972
Vinyl: Superb clean and shiny condition. Evidence of spindle marks on labels and just one entirely non audible scuff on one track. Grades as top MINT-!
Cover: Again, minimal signs of any use. A predominantly white cover that is impossible to find in decent condition like this one 47 years after release. Grades as MINT-!
