Here's your chance to own the 2 most coveted, and I think the only 2, lysergic rare-as-hell soundtracks to some really groovy underground surf films. All nice and tidied up in a lot just for you.

FARM (Los Angeles, CA) "The Innermost Limits of Pure Fun" 1976 (Series 2) [swirl label] [2] Soundtrack to great obscure surf flick, mostly instrumental jams in a psychy 1970s surf style. One track has been comp'd. Also released in Australia in a laminated sleeve (on the Rebel label), and the movie does include Australian footage. Apart from the many surf soundtracks the Dragon brothers were involved in a ski movie called "Winter Equinox". ~~~ Here's some info on the band collected by Mike Cooper: "The lead guitarist Denny Aaberg was a keen surfer and well known surf writer from Pacific Palisades ("Big Wednesday" was based on Denny Aaberg's surfing youth, with Bill Pritchard who is also in this soundtrack band), while others in the band have been Beach Boys-connected in the 1980s-90s. Ernie Knapp briefly played bass with the Beach Boys before getting thrown out, while Dennis Dragon did sound work for them. The Dragon brothers hailed from Hollywood and Doug and Dennis (drums and organ on this soundtrack) were brothers to Daryl Dragon of "Captain and Tenille" (Daryl was a friend/collaborator of Dennis Wilson), and Daryl is an additional musician on this soundtrack, which was one of 30 produced by Dennis and Daryl in Dennis's Malibu bedroom. Movie producer George Greenough is a surfing legend for his many films with cameras "on-board" and his surf philosophy. He financed the making of "Pure Fun" entirely from the proceeds of his fishing business, and resides in Australia today". ~~~

V.A "DIRTY FEET" (CA) "Dirty Feet" 1965 (Fink 1007) [2] Soundtrack to an underground surf film. The music is primarily folk, however, with singers Tim Morgon, Vicki Arthur, and some eastern style instro wanderings as well. [RM] + Phil Pearlman was involved in this production, it is also pressed on the same tiny label as his awesome first 45.

CONDITIONS = "FARM" Cover has a blank back originally (super private press) and has seam splits on all 3 sides but still holds well, some ring wear but still has some attractive gloss left, would publicly rate it a VG- just so i don't piss anyone off, but it flies in my VG territory. Vinyl has superficial wear and is quite scuffy, I bet it can benefit extremely from a good cleaning as right now it plays wonderfully with little noise, humbly a VG- because I don't own a VPI, but keep in mind it plays nice. "DIRTY FEET" Cover top left corner cumulative - inch (or smaller) sized seem split otherwise great for this crazy rare record. Little corner wear, VG, & the best condition I've seen on this record I've only come across twice, ever. Vinyl is in VG++ condition, maybe even better, it plays beautifully.
