Description
This is the debut studio album of Fastway, a British heavy metal/glam rock band that was popular in the 1980s. The LP was released in 1983 under Columbia record label and comes in a cardboard sleeve. The vinyl material is black in color and the record grading is excellent (EX). The sleeve grading is very good (VG). See photos for folded corner on sleeve insert.
Founding member Pete Way (ex-bass guitar player with UFO) did not play on the album, because by the time the recording sessions began Way left the band. He soon formed another band, Waysted. The bass guitar parts on the album were actually played by Rafaelito Benitez. He worked in the studio where the album was recorded and when Pete Way (who was meant to be there) didn't show up that day, Benitez offered to play bass for the album. He came up with the bass lines and remains uncredited for the album.
The album features 10 tracks with a total duration of LP. The record size is 12" and the speed is 33 RPM. The release title is "Fastway" and it is a first edition, promo, and first pressing. The album is produced by Eddie Kramer and the language is English. The genre is rock and metal with a style of British Metal/NWOBHM, hard rock, and 1980s.
