FATS NAVARRO: "THE FABULOUS VOL. 1" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #1531.   Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp.  Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the LEXINGTON AVE address on both labels.  The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides.  "EAR" and RVG engraved by hand in the trail-off on both sides.  Thick FLAT EDGE vinyl, thick cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Fats Navarro/trumpet; Howard McGhee/trumpet; Ernie Henry/alto sax; Sonny Rollins/tenor sax; Charlie Rouse/tenor sax; Tadd Dameron/piano; Bud Powell/piano; Milt Jackson/piano & vibes; Tommy Potter/bass; Nelson Boyd/bass; Curly Russell/bass; Roy Haynes/drums; Shadow Wilson/drums; Kenny Clarke/drums.  The vinyl is in VG+ condition (beautiful sheen)!  The thick cover is in superb shape, bright & clean, displays wonderfully.  Small bottom right corner bump w/some wear.  No cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 767 Lexington Ave., New York 21.  The songs are:  Our Delight (Alternate Master); Our Delight; The Squirrel (Alternate Master); The Squirrel; The Chase (Alternate Master); The Chase; Wail (Alternate Master); Bouncing With Bud (Alternate Master); Double Talk; Dameronia (Alternate Master); Dameronia.
