FINNEAS (Billie Eilish's brother, co-writer and producer) teams up with his longtime friend Ashe to form the brand new band The Favors. The American duo previously released under the less imaginatively titled Ashe & FINNEAS and had two hits in the shape of 'Moral of the Story' and 'Till Forever Falls Apart'. Deciding to make more of a go of it with the proper formation of a band, the debut album takes influence from 70s pop and razor sharp Americana songwriting. Much like Angus and Julia Stone before them, the harmonising of male/female vocals is spellbinding and goosebump-inducing. 'Times Square Jesus' draws on Biblical imagery and the sharing of lead vocal duties as well as the trademark harmonies work brilliantly. 'The Hudson' sees FINNEAS really go for it and belt it from the bottom of his heart like nothing matters more than the moment he's in. It's an inspired performance from one of the most inspiring duos on the scene right now.
