FAX PK 3 Collector’s Box 12” vinyl partly complete rare ambient signed Namlook

An original FAX Collector’s Box, partially complete, for the Project 3 series of 12” vinyl singles releases on the FAX +49-69/450464 music label, catalogue number BOX PK 3, from 1993. One of only 50 copies, from the early days of the FAX label and made in Germany. Autographed by the Project 3 artists, including the late, great FAX label founder and revered ambient and electronic music artist Pete Namlook (rest in peace), this box is numbered 000002. This item consists of the box lid, box base, FAX releases information sheet and seven (7) 12” singles from the Project 3 series of FAX label vinyl releases.

Bought from a fellow collector in the 2000s, the box lid and base are in good condition, with some imperfections, the same as I acquired it in. One join/corner of the base is split (see photos). The box lid has a bit of tape on one side and is slightly bent at one corner. Also, the base has two small circular indents visible on the interior and exterior (of unknown origin). On the exterior of the box lid there are some faint scratch marks, with one deeper scratch mark on the lower left and a crease mark near it. The project style(s) colour guide sticker that originally came with the box has been stuck on to the box lid exterior in the top left corner - presumably by the previous owner. That sticker, and the same type of sticker on the centre of the box lid exterior which I believe was integral to the box on its release, show some signs of wear.
Included are seven (7) of the 16 Project 3 12” vinyl singles. Each of these is one of a limited edition of 500 copies each, so some of them are scarce in themselves. Applying Discogs vinyl record grading, these singles are [VG+ = show some signs of being played, otherwise handled by previous owner who took good care of it; VG = noticeable groove wear (very little I could see for these, though) and light scratches (also some light smudge marks); surface noise will not overpower the music]:
Hearts of Space 3 (VG); Crypt Corp. 3 (VG+); Olympic 3 (VG); Harmonize 3 (VG+); Stanley Conaway 3 (VG+); Oversize Pussy 3 (VG); Escape 3 (VG).
They come in their original paper inner sleeves (no outer sleeves), most with some ageing (browning) at the edges and some with crease marks. Hearts of Space 3 has a small, thin tear in its paper sleeve too (see photos). Two of the paper sleeves have some writing on (not mine, note). Grading for each of the sleeves is VG, in my opinion.
The interior of the box lid is autographed by the following artists/musicians, as far as I can tell: Pete Namlook (rest in peace); Atom Heart; DJ Criss; Pascal F.E.O.S.; Dr. Atmo; Al A. Perry; DJ Hubee; redruM and DJ Pussy Lover.
Also included is a FAX release information sheet which is in good condition but is showing signs of age (slight browning and slight creasing, more visible on front and back pages). It contains information on the FAX label and on each of the Project 3 artists. It also lists all FAX label releases up to the release date of the box. The missing Project 3 series releases could be bought separately and added to the box contents to complete the box set (which was my intention, originally).
This box is part of the lasting legacy that prolific genius and ambient pioneer Peter Kuhlmann a.k.a. Pete Namlook (rest in peace), left to ambient music and to electronic music in general. Ideal for fans of the vast output of the FAX label. May help you to complete your FAX collection.
