This listing is for FELA KUTI KALAKUTA SHOW KALAKUTA records KR 01 the cover for this is VG- showing wear. There’s flaking of the image on the entire left side towards the spine. The rear shows some of the same flaking in places. This is probably some water damage but the cover is not wavy so who knows. The record is a solid VG++ if not better. There is a beautiful gloss to it some light extraction scuff from paper sleeve but a real nice copy. The record does show a some light haze to it in a few spots both sides probably a pressing issue from the vinyl used. This is actually even difficult to see unless you really strain your eyes either way it can’t be heard. The record plays great and it is the original Nigerian press from 1976 so unlike all the reissues of the past years it’s all analog. Like all his African pressed recordings tough to find in playable shape and this one is very nice and would be tough to find a cleaner copy and most people would be satisfied with the record. Unfortunately the cover has issues but not that bad and still shows well.
