Artist: FELA RANSOME – KUTI and the AFRICA -70
Title: “Fela’s London Scene”
Label: MAKOSSA. Label is red with black text. Stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl. Catalog number is M 2399.
Year: 1971.
NOTE: This came from a large collection of LPs stored for many years by an individual associated with the radio station at a historically black university back in the mid 1970s-early 80s. This one shows no sign of ever having been on a turntable and is likely unplayed. Guaranteed to be original and not a modern repro. I will be listing additional albums from this collection in the coming weeks, so please check back for additional rare titles.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is gorgeous NM-, a beauty! The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, played a small number of times and handled with care. Plays beautifully with superb fidelity. Labels are clean and pristine.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG++. Front artwork is clean and bright, with a few slight traces of ring wear just beginning to appear. Traces of wear on seams, spine and corner tips. Reverse is clean with no writing or stickers. Overall a very nice jacket to accompany the beautiful disc.
