Title: Ferris Wheel
Details: - Superb copy of this Prog rarity, 1st ever UK Issue 1970 on the Red Polydor label, featuring the lovely Linda Lewis, they have been described as "one of England's great lost musical treasures of the mid- to late '60s" - matrix 583066 A//2 - 583066 B//2
Music: The Ferris Wheel draw on both Psychedlic and 60`s pop influences, with some of their songs and arrangements being described as "gently trippy, soaring". It features `Can`t Stop Now` which has a prog feel about it with it`s various time changes but mainly you can hear the 60`s psych storytelling influences in such songs as `The Tightrope Walker`, `Sunday Times` and the weird spacey interpretation of `The Ugly Duckling`, `Child of the City` reminded me of The Incredible String Band very folky, this LP is full of `Delights` and is another rarity that got away.
Trivia: Linda Lewis appeared in `Hard Days Night` as a screaming schoolgirl also in `A Taste of Honey`, she also incredibly has a 5 octave vocal range!

Vinyl: (Mint-) Thick Vinyl, even under Halogen Spotlights cant really see any marks, Looks unplayed!! Comes with orignal `Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous` Polylined Inner Sleeve in Mint condition
Inserts - Very Rare insert included - mint condition
Sleeve: (NM) Laminated `MacNeill Press, London` sleeve in almost perfect condition, when tilted to light can see where a sticky label has been removed but no sleeve damage, Laminate gives this sleeve a Beautiful finish.
Labels: As New no visible spindle lines this LP looks unplayed, `Made in England` credits
