Description
This is a scarce 2 LP record set in stereo of THE FESTIVAL QUARTET on the LIVING STEREO RCA VICTOR RED SEAL label LSC-6068 featuring the following:
PIANO QUARTETS - Brahms in C Minor, Op.60 Beethoven in E-Flat, Op.16 Schumann in E-Flat, Op.47.
It features - SZYMON GOLDBERG, WILLIAM PRIMROSE, NIKOLAI GRAUDAN and VICTOR BABIN.
The copyright date suggests the year of manufacture was 1959.
The gatefold illustrated cover is in reasonable condition for its age with some fraying on the top side edge of the front cover. The overall condition of the inner sections and rear cover is reasonably good and just a few handling marks. The inner sleeves are clean and in good condition
I have played the four sides through as background music and to my ear they all play very clear and well, with just the usual light background crackle here and there. Overall to my ear it plays as well as a record should.
The records surfaces are in good clean condition with very few surface imperfections.
Hopefully the four pictures will give a good indication of the condition and description. If you wish to bid, please bear in mind the comments I have mentioned.
The LP set will be sent in a new purpose made record packet, so please allow for that in the mailing costs. I have shown two rates of signed for postage within the UK. I have also shown rates for part Europe and part Rest of World which will be by 'International Signed' for which adds to the standard rates.
