Description
This is an auction for an extraordinarily rare set of Frankie Goes To Hollywood 12" and 7" Records and Cassette copies of Relax. This collection represents virtually all the original versions of the song.
Included is Not only Trevor Horn's Original 16.24 12" "Sex Mix" Version, the more traditional 7.20 US Mix 12" and the Cassette version but also the extremely rare 8.20 Sex Mix Edit 12" and Rare Promo White Label Relax "The Last Seven Inches"7. All these copies are genuine 1983 and 1984 versions.
I am selling these at a rock bottom price as a collection. Their combined value in itself is considerable but to a collector of Frankie music they are worth far more than that. For instance, I have never seen another copy of the 8.20 Sex Mix Edit. From a collectors point of view some of the tracks on these records are probably not available in any other format even today.
The Canadian Island Version is virtually mint and I have owned since new as is the copy labelled "Original Mix". The others I purchased secondhand. The extremely rare German Island Version looks tatty but plays fine. The 7" Promo "Last Seven Inches" has a slightly stained cover and also plays fine.
