THE FIFTH ORDER-45-"Goin’ Too Far" b/w "Walkin' Away"-Diamond # D-212-DJ Issue-KILLERKOOL 1966 Ohio Garage/Punk-Far superior to the Laurie release, and dangerously cool. Many of you may be familiar with "Goin’ Too Far" from the Boulders Vol. 1 comp years back...if not-great 2-guitar driven punker, with cryptic overtones, a somewhat out-of-tune-over-the-edge bass-line, gutteral lead vocal, cool lead guitar break, sort of synonymous to the Squires on Atco...B side is also KillerKool-has an early Kinks-Crunch "I Need You" rhythm guitar structure; also reminds me of the Wind’s "Don’t Take Your Love Away" (Great Texas band/record) in overall structure; also has a great fuzz lead guitar break...great 2-sided punker... Condition: Record is somewhere between VG+ to MINT-Minus. Has a very slight small warp. Some light background noise at times due to pressing NOT condition.
