Description
This is a fine copy of a 1997 archival LP of 1966-67 recordings by experimental Bay Area rock group Fifty Foot Hose. The recordings on this LP pre-date the group's 1968 LP Cauldron. Included are one of the singles by the previous incarnation of the group (the Ethix) along with five other unreleased tracks, a couple of them clocking in at over ten minutes. The Ethix 45 and a couple of the other tracks appeared on an expanded reissue of the group's LP in 1996, and these and one additional track were included on a recent archival LP, but two of the tracks on this LP ("War" and "Low Down Nasty") have appeared nowhere else to date. The record is housed in a plain black jacket with cover slicks on the front and back. The cover slicks are pristine, while the jacket is close to pristine (M-). The disc has a small stain in track 1, side 1, that creates a little light surface noise. Otherwise it's clean with a little light scuffing, and plays with minimal surface noise (not counting some light surface noise from source disc for the 45) -- overall EX+.
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
