Description
Custom Recordings AW19937
Artist: Jubilee Methodist Church Choir, Suva, Fiji
Tracks: Isa Lei / Me Da Marau E Na Siga Oqo
Rare and beautiful music, "Isa Lei" is a classic Fijian song, about distant love. If you've heard the "Secret Museum of Mankind" you've heard this wonderful unaccompanied track. I assume this was likely recorded in the late 40s or thereabouts. This is my favorite recording of the tune on disc, and I've seen at least 3 different versions.
Condition: EE+ (few miniscule marks)
I will be selling a lot of amazing discs from around the world in the coming months. Please bookmark me and check back in.
Shipping
ALL BUYERS - DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE
US buyers:
For 1-3 78s, price is $4.
International buyers:
Please wait for my invoice, as shipping must be calculated by distance and weight. I will not use the eBay Global Shipping Center for international shipping. Feel free to bid if you are an international buyer and standard shipping costs will apply.
I usually ship on Fridays or Saturdays. Please pay within 5 days.
NOTE: Because of the cost of good, new packing supplies, I must add a handling cost of $3.50 to each box.
To be clear, I do not believe this is the same version of the song on "Secret Museum," but it is the same tune, similar performance, and an excellent one!
