Description
Insanely rare PICTURE SLEEVE is included with this 80s-LA metal single, "The Quake Has Come / Running Hard" by FINAL DAWN. Issued in 1987 onwhat I imagine is their own label GP Records (Guinn/Phillips?). Sleeve artwork by percussionist Chris Bartolon. Other members are Brett Phillips GT, BV, Bob Neilson bass, Virgil Nicholson LVC, Bob Guinn GTR, BV. Would have been a good fit for early/mid Metal Blade!
The single would be in VG+ shape EXCEPT for a mark on the B-side... unlike a lot of ebay sellers, I'm not gonna tell you something is Near Mint and it shows up and it looks like they rollerskated on it. The mark DOES make a 'pop' but DOES NOT skip. So VG. Side one is VG+ at least. And the interesting fold-over-and-staple sleeve has some wrinkles and some soiling, so again, not gonna lie: VG- to G on a picky day. Sleeve is open at top AND left side; these things were assembled from b&w copier papers, so they all seem to be a little different. One on discogs is stapled top AND bottom. In any case, there aren't many with the PS; even what appears to be a band member is selling copies of this 7" in plain paper sleeves.
