Description
Wow, what you are bidding on is a beautiful import pressing of FINNFOREST: FINNFOREST. This is in VG+ or better condition, and tough to find. This is o the great Finland label "Love" (which is now defunt). The lp and cover are in VG+ or better condition. From beautiful and sometimes slow, laid back jazz stylings backed with organ and piano at times accompanied by soaring, extended guitar solos to energetic jam sessions with riffing more reminiscent to hard rock. The drums are also notable, as they kick and plod their way, slowly or quickly, with the band revolving around it. The drumming can be intense at times, and there is even a drum solo. What's not to like? The guitarwork is none less than fantastic and admirable, and of course this is even more apparent during the more guitar-oriented songs. The guitar solos are not over-used, but well-placed and extremely tasteful when used. The bass does it's job, pretty audible. There are no vocals, which may be for the better. I don't know how that would effect the essence that permeates this record.
